A Modern-Day Paul
I sometimes wonder, sometimes, if I'm truly meant to be a modern-day Paul more than anything. He spent his entire life on this world witnessing to people, no matter the situation, location, or cause. Because he devoted his life to God he felt everything else was pointless, including a wife. He even says in Corinthians that a person shouldn't get married unless he/she can't control their sexual urges. To be up front, my promise from God seems to be dying. I'm not losing my faith, but still I just wonder. Am I a modern-day Paul?

Sometimes our faith may waver, if only for a moment. During these times just remember:
Psalm 37:4 "Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart."
Continue to confess and speak life over this situation. God is good and just - He IS listening, He sees your faithfulness and will reward you according to His perfect will. Nothing can compare to what He has planned for YOU!
We (as human beings) can never know what is certain for our future, but we do know the One who does. That there is hope and what God has is more incredible and awesome than anything we can complete ourselves. If you are called to be a modern-day Paul, then God will adjust your desires accordingly. However, I believe that God is stirring...He is using you to do His good work and He will bless you with the desires he's planted in your heart when the time is right - no question! AMEN!!
Keep the Faith, and God Bless for being the vessel he has called you to be. The best is yet to come...
